Starting to Train

The weather was so nice this morning I decided to start training for the MS bike ride in June. The goal is to ride at least 40 miles due to peer pressure from the team at work, Thanks Roy!

I got the opportunity to ride the biggest hill on my route twice today. Right before I started, the nut that holds the peddle in came out! I don't know who designed it to loose'n in the direction you peddle :-/ So I turned it upside down to fix it, when I got to the top of the hill I looked down and my speedometer was gone. They are a little pricey so I rode down to look for it, no luck! It's gone forever.

All in all starting with 9 miles with two hills feels pretty good. I will be good and ready come June.

I also got a Nike fuelband on release day and I can see that biking will be an okay way to get fuel points. Looks like I got over 1200 for my ride today.

Easter

This is just a quick video I put together of Mac's first Easter.

Mac!

Here is a link to pictures we took of Mac for his first two weeks.  He was born February 11, 2010 at 4:50p, that was five weeks before his due date.  He weighed 5 lbs. 4 oz. and stayed in the NICU for 10 days while he learned how to eat.  He is home and well now.

Intermountain Contractor

Just thought I should share that I was featured in the February issue of Intermountian Contractor.  It is an article about industry professionals in Utah and Idaho under 40.  It was originally for under 30, but I guess they couldn't find enough.  You can see the article here.
